Teravarna Award

Woo Hoo! I recently won this Honorable Mention Award from Teravarna's 14th Annual Animal portrait contest. It was an extra nice treat as it was for a portrait I painted of my dog. Painting that portrait was deeply meaninful and cathartic as I painted it recently after we learned our dog had developed SARDS (Sudden blindness). That's a topic I think I'll make a serparate post for. In fact, I'm considering drawing a mini graphic story about it in the future.

There is one more contest I entered my piece into. Awaiting to hear results from that, wish me luck! Wether I win anything from that contest or not, I'll also make a separate post about that experience because I had such a great time with it and it's been so fun seeing all the other entries. Seriously, so much talent and love and some of the humor behind the paintings are just SO up my alley and fantastic!
